What this policy covers

Slavery and Human Trafficking remains a hidden blight on our global society. We all have a responsibility to be alert to the risks, however small, in our business and in the wider supply chain.


Our Commitment

Euro Plast Ltd is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business.
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and taking reasonable steps to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any business or organisation that has any sort of a business relationship with our company.
•    We are committed to protecting and preserving the rights of our employees, those employed in our supply chain, and those affected by our operations;
•    We are committed to acting in a socially responsible manner, complying with applicable laws, and respecting the communities where we operate;
•    We believe that all employment should be freely chosen and commit to refrain from any form of forced or involuntary labour;
•    We are opposed to the use of any form of child labour or practices that inhibit the development of children;
•    We are alert to the risks vulnerable people may face and seek to ensure that this group is free from discrimination and exploitation, and;
•    We will only work with suppliers whose core values and commitment to ethical business conduct matches our own.


Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking

Euro Plast Ltd has zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our values.
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk Euro Plast Ltd has in place systems to encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistle-blowers.
Where our supply chain providers are with a UK provider we expect these entities to have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes.


Management

The management team are responsible for compliance within their respective departments and in their supplier relationships and have been trained accordingly.


Our effectiveness in combating slavery and human trafficking

Euro Plast Ltd uses the following key performance indicators to measure how effective we have been to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains:
1.    Use of labour monitoring, right to work documentation and payroll audits.
2.    We maintain a level of communication and personal contact with the next link in the supply chain to ensure their understanding of, and compliance with, our expectations.
3.    We regularly review supply chain policies, codes of conduct and our working practices to show commitment.
This statement has been made in accordance with the reporting requirements of Clause 54, Part 6 of the UK Modern Slavery Act and constitutes Euro Plast Ltd ethics to anti-slavery and to human trafficking.
